Lifeline is a faith-based, pro-life ministry whose mission is to defend life, to meet the physical, social, and spiritual needs of those who may be experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and other family responsibilities, to bring healing and wholeness to lives traumatized by abortion, to present the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to challenge our community to adopt a godly view of sexuality and the sanctity of human life.

Statement of Faith 

1. We believe in the existence of the One true God in Three Persons — Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Exodus 20:2,3; 1 Corinthians 8:6; Titus 2:13). 
2. We believe in the inerrancy of Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16,17; 2 Peter 1:19-21). 
3. We believe in the divine creation of the universe and the unique creation of man in the image of God (Genesis 1-2; Colossians 1:16,17; John 1:3). 
4. We believe in the total depravity of man (Gen. 3:1-6; Romans 3:10-19, 5:12). 
5. We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ (Gen. 3:15; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25). 
6. We believe in the substitutionary death of Christ and His bodily resurrection (Rom. 5:19; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Cor. 15:3-5). 
7. We believe in the necessity of salvation through faith in the finished, redemptive work of Christ (Rom. 3:23-25; Ephesians 2:8,9; Jn. 3:16,17; Hebrews 10:10-12). 
8. We believe in the existence of a literal Hell and the bodily return of Christ to earth (Luke 16:25; Rev­elation 20:14,15; Acts 2:11,29- 35; Matt. 24:29-31). 
9. We believe in the biblical model for marriage and family (Gen. 2:24; Eph. 5:21, 6:4; Col. 3:18,21; I Pet. 3:17) 
10. We believe children are a blessing of the Lord and should be welcomed (Psalm 127:3; Mark 10:13). 

• 1989 — A small group of local ladies recognized a need in the community to serve young women facing crisis pregnancies. Starting in a room at David's Community Bible Church, Lifeline began as a hotline for those in need.
• 1990 — Lifeline officially became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
• 1992 — Lifeline’s Board of Directors was established. Lifeline moved out of David's Community Bible Church to a more accessible location. The ministry rented the parsonage on Race Street in Millersburg from First United Methodist Church.
• 1993 — Lifeline moved across the corner to its current location at 403 Union Street.
• 2002 — Lifeline purchased the building on Union Street.
• 2007 — Lifeline increased its open hours to include evenings.
• 2013 — Lifeline introduced its current education curriculum, Earn While You Learn.
• 2026 — After years of prayer, planning and preparation, Lifeline opened the door of its medical center, and now offers limited first trimester ultrasounds.
