Get involved!

Lifeline Resource Center offers many opportunities for you to get involved and support the ministry.

  1. Pray for our clients, staff, board, and volunteers as well as God’s direction for this ministry.
  2. Spread the word! If you know of anyone who would benefit from our life-affirming services, please send them our way. We want to serve them!
  3. Volunteer in whatever capacity works for you!
    • Meet with clients
    • Sort donations
    • Assist with special events
    • Serve as a liaison between Lifeline and your church
    • Help with building upkeep and maintenance
  4. Give
    • One-time donation
    • Monthly/regularly
    • Baby bottle campaign (Often happens in the spring but can happen anytime.)
    • Sponsor a day (Honor someone you love by sponsoring Lifeline for one day. $400.)
    • Donate new or gently used baby and children’s items. Email or call the center for a current list of our most pressing needs.
  5. As a group/church
    • Pack & Pray – fill a Pack & Play with baby and children’s items. Pray for Lifeline and its clients as you do so.
    • Baby bottle campaign
    • Online fundraisers
    • Invite us — We’d love to share the ministry of Lifeline with your church or group of any size.
Guidelines for Donating Clothing & Baby Supplies

We appreciate and accept: (Please note, all donations must be gently used or new.)

 Clothing and shoes for children sizes newborn to 6T

  • Cribs (slats less than 2 3/8" apart & NO sliding sides), strollers, exersaucers, swings, pack-n-plays
  • Age-appropriate toys WITH their pieces
  • Children's books
  • Youth beds
  • NEW ITEMS (Due to safety and health reasons we can only accept NEW items of the following): Car seats, potty chairs, baby safety/health kits, mattresses for both cribs and youth beds
  • Diapers (especially sizes 4 through 7) and new unopened wipes
  • Baby food & formula that is unopened and not expired
  • New breast pumps & other accessories for breastfeeding
  • New socks (especially toddler through child's sizes)
  • New underwear (sizes training, through size 6T)

Due to safety and/or government regulations, unacceptable items include: 

  • Used car seats
  • Worn and outdated baby/child equipment
  • Cribs with sliding sides & slats more than 2 3/8" apart
  • Used mattresses
  • Toys missing any or all pieces
  • Stained, damaged & worn-out clothing/shoes
  • Used potty chairs

Other clothing and small household items can be donated to Community Aid via the bin at the side of our property along Race Street. Lifeline receives a small monetary donation per pound, so if you have clothing that no longer suits your needs, please bag it up and put it in the bin!
